Keeping children safe: Year 5 Hazard Alley Trip

Year 5 have visited Hazard Alley to learn how to be safe and deal with every day dangers. Children went around in groups with a guide, who took them to various parts of a model town. Each part of the town demonstrated different situations using life like rooms and people. For example they learnt how to put someone in the recovery position. Amongst many other life skills they were also taught how to check a smoke alarm.

The year 5 trip to Hazard Alley on Wed 30th September was a fantastic experience for all ! The children's comments included

"We loved that trip."
" It was a bit scary but we learnt how to deal with situations that could be dangerous."
"The guides were really helpful and answered all our questions."
If you have never been before, we recommend a visit to Milton Keynes.
A great day out had by all!
