A rich curriculum: The Mosaics 2011

Over the past few weeks all the children have been contributing to a large mosaic project and we are now pleased to announce that the project is completed. If you walk through the upper playground you may have notice our new installment of four large mosaic panels mounted on the walls. I am so impressed with the work all the children have put into this task.

Every child contributed.

The children have learnt many new skills, which are challenging for all, and worked as a team to produce an amazing piece of whole school art.  With the support of Debbie, our artist, the designs the children created were turned into the four final images which reflect some of the plans for the inside of the swimming pool.  I would like to thank any parents volunteers who supported us and to the children for their fantastic art skills!
