Councillor Chris Haywood visits Parents' Maths

We were delighted to welcome Councillor Chris Haywood to Fair Field this morning. Part of Councillor Haywood's role is to look after libraries and adult learning. Miss Worsley has organised a series of English and Maths GCSE courses, as well as sessions for teaching parents how schools teach Maths to their children. The courses have run over the last three years in conjunction with our friends at Hertfordshire Adult & Family Learning Service. Councillor Haywood was keen to see the sessions in action.

What methods do we teach?

Councillor Haywood was very impressed with the session. As a school, we are very proud to offer this valuable service that so many local parents have succeeded at. Well done to all involved.
