Year 4 Tudor Day

Year 4 all enjoyed a fantastic Tudor Day recently. During the day, which was led by historian, Richard York, we learnt about Tudor instruments, songs and dances. Richard brought along many traditional Tudor instruments, including harps and drums, and all the children were able to have a go at playing them.

The amount of new songs and tunes the children managed to learn ready to put on a professional performance to parents the same afternoon was quite incredible.   We might even see some of the Tudor dance moves at the next disco!! The day was made even more realistic by children and staff dressing up-everyone looked great! Thank you to all the parents for helping your children with their costumes.
