Year 5 become Victorians! (by Lara and Tamyah)

On the 4th November, Year 5 all had a fun packed day of learning about Victorian instruments, clothes, songs and rich and poor lifestyles. We all had to come to school dressed up in either rich or poor Victorian clothing. During Victorian Day, we were learnt a play called Squire Horton's Village. Richard York brought in a puppet called Major Horton, who was the owner of the village. When we had finished practising our play, all of Year 5 parents came to watch our play.
