Year 6 visit 'Court'!

On Tuesday 27th May 2010, magistrates from St Albans magistrates court visited Year 6. Year six pupils were given an insight into the justice system when magistrates from the local court visited. The visitors provided the pupils with a great deal of information about the role of magistrates. The pupils enjoyed taking part in a quiz linked to the information they had heard and they were keen to find out more by asking a number of interesting questions.

During the visit, the classroom was turned into a magistrates courtroom and both year six classes took part in a courtroom scene, taking on the different roles within the courtroom.
