"The curriculum is well designed to promote pupils' personal development and help them develop important literacy and numeracy skills. ICT is used to support a range of subjects. The enrichment of the curriculum through visits and visitors, after-school clubs, and a mathematics breakfast club, are excellent." (Ofsted November 2009)

I am immensely proud of our achievements. Ofsted report that the school has improved in almost every respect since the last inspection. The report marks a point on a journey and, as a community, we have our sights set high. The improvements in this report are a testament to the commitment of our staff, governors, parents and pupils. The hard work has been recognised. We know that pupils attain well and make expected progress. We always strive to do better, and in doing so, we will not compromise the breadth of experience for pupils. Our focus on academic achievement goes hand-in-hand with our focus on the whole child. Finally, I would like to thank everyone who has supported our school. I sincerely look forward to our future and to the next time Ofsted visit to measure our success.
